The Kedarkantha Trek typically takes 6 days to complete. This includes the trek from Sankri to the Kedarkantha Summit and back, allowing time for acclimatization, rest, and enjoying the scenic beauty along the way.

Day wise Itinerary for Kedarkantha Trek

The journey will begin from Dehradun railway station. We will take you to base camp Sankri, Juda ka Talab and prepare you for the summit climb. After the summit climb, we will trek back to Sankri and the journey will conclude at the Dehradun Railway Station.

Day 1: Pickup From Dehradun and drive to Sankri

Sankri is located at an altitude of 1920 meters (6,400 feet). The drive from Dehradun to Sankri is 220 km and takes around 10 hours. Trekkers will be picked up from Hotel Grand near Dehradun Railway Station at 6:30 AM in a vehicle (Bolero, Innova, Tempo travellers or Bus (depending on the group size)). Expect to reach Sankri by 5 PM. Jio and BSNL networks are available. Night stay will be in guest houses or hotels."
